Returns & Refund Policy

At The House of Mama, we want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to help.

1. Returns

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order if:

  • The item is unused
  • The item is in its original condition
  • The item is returned in its original packaging

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following items may not be returned unless defective:

  • Caps that have been worn
  • Items that show signs of use


3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product.

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.


4. Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect depending on your payment provider.


5. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect or defective.

We currently ship within South Africa only.

5 - 7 business days

Please note that delivery times may vary during busy periods.


4. Shipping Confirmation

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation message with tracking details (where available).


5. Delays

While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delays may occur due to courier issues or unforeseen circumstances.

The House of Mama is not responsible for delays caused by courier services.


6. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct when placing your order.

The House of Mama cannot be responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by customers.
